Gilbert Adair

1944'te doğdu. Londra'da yaşayan yazarın çok sayıda romanı vardır. Georges Perec'in La Disparition adlı romanının İngilizceye çevirisiyle The Scott Moncrieff Ödülü'nü alan Adair'in yapıtlarından bazıları şunlardır: Alice through the Needle's Eye (1984), Peter Pan and The Only Children (1987), The Holy Innocents (1988), Love and Death on Long Island (1990), The Rape of the Cock (1991), The Death of the Author (1992), The Key to the Tower (1997), A Closed Book (Kapalı Kitap) (1999), The Real Tadzio (2001).
