R Kitap: reading on a timed digital licence
A model that lets you read a book by licensing it for a set period instead of buying it, open to individual readers and organisations.
R Kitap lets a reader license a book for a set period instead of buying it. There is no physical purchase.
How it works
For the length of the licence the book sits in the reader's library; it cannot be downloaded or copied. When the term ends access closes by itself, and reading history and notes stay in the reader's account.
For organisations
Periodic packages are offered for schools, municipal libraries and companies. Usage scales with the number of readers in the organisation.
